• 9,500,000 cells
• 1,300 nerve endings
• 20,000 sensory cells

just to name… um… a few. Our body’s largest organ makes up about 15% of our total weight and covers 20 square feet. Paper-thin and incredibly complex, your skin protects you from the perils of your environment and allows you to feel pain and pleasure. It’s working to renew itself every second of every day. So how well do you really know the back of your hand — or for that matter, any square inch of your skin?

The Eye’s Have it!

The fact is, eye wrinkles are a part of the aging process. Some ladies seem to be able to accept this gracefully, while others like myself are fighting against them tooth and nail. Thankfully, anti-oxidants pack a powerful bunch in our fight against aging. The more antioxidants in our arsenal the better.

Here are some antioxidants that are vital if we desire a firmer eye area.

Green tea extracts preform double duty not only as free-radical fighters, but also as a sunblock, reducing sunburn and DNA damage.

Green tea with CoQ10 is even better in an eye cream. These two plant based antioxidants are gentle, but yet very effective.

Skin Dryness: Cure for Menopausal Women

Most of us have not heard of these statistics, but we’ve experienced the symptoms that they are addressing here. The change of life is inevitable. Thankfully, we here at Nature’s Genesis have the remedy to combat the dryness that is associated with menopause and for that matter perimenopause.

Vichy Laboratoires sponsored a survey of 686 menopausal women to examine skin care concerns in this age group. Interestingly, the survey found that dryness may supersede wrinkles as a concern for women ages 50+. The fieldwork for the phone survey was conducted by Opinion Research Corp.

Many of the women also changed their beauty routine with menopause, as 67% reported purchasing new skin care and color cosmetic products to address these issues.

Just wanted to put in a really good word for the Reparative Age-Defying serum, which I have been very impressed with to date. (I use it in my daily skin regimen.)Since the doc ordered me to start taking Tarceva (a non-small-cell cancer drug), I have been even more impressed with the serum. The drug has made all my skin so very, very dry!! I have had to purchase special lotions for my body to keep the skin from cracking and bleeding. BUT!! New Exciting Gadget for Antiaging!

HI Ladies,

It’s been a while since I’ve updated you guys with the latest Nature’s Genesis News, so here are a few updates.

Our website is in the process of a complete transformation. Besides the look and feel of the site being completely different, we are adding a few new product lines. Even a new little gadget that improves unsightly acne scarring, texture, fine lines and wrinkles, and even helps with the firming and toning of the skin.

You know how we all have certain areas on our body that we wished we could change. Well, my area has been my forehead. I’ve been working with a vengeance on these stubborn horizontal forehead lines. These stinken little lines have sent me on a frenzy quest to find the perfect product that will get rid of these without having to resort to botox. I’ve had botox in the past for these little buggers, but I’m determined to stay away from that poison. (It has been a least 2-3 years since I’ve had botox) I have been targeting this area with a vigor and this little gadget seems to speeding up the process. When our site is completely done and up and running these devices will be added in as soon as possible. I can’t tell you anymore until our site is done.

Since there has been a lot of trouble with the whole ordering process, the shopping cart is also getting a complete over haul. Yeah! This has been a thorn in everyone’s side. Thank you for your patience in this matter.

Testimonies

Tracy sent me a sample of the Rejuva mineral eye shadow with my order, so I decided to try it even though I have had some problems with mineral eye shadow in the past. And, lo and behold, I just love the stuff! I have used up the sample, and just ordered some more, along with another color in the same brand. (Note: Tracy sent me “Sunset Bronze”, a color I would never have ordered on my own, but it is very complimentary to my green eye color. So I just want to add that I would now trust her with any color questions I might have, as well.)
I continue to be really impressed with all of the products that I try, will move on to the bath and body ones next.

Nature’s Genesis – New Skin Care Website

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick note to say I haven’t forgotten you. We are updating our website to service you, our customers, better. I’ve received many phone calls stating that our cart was knocking everybody off and that it was about impossible to order. This is NOT good at all for everybody concerned. I’m so sorry for any and all inconveniences.

I think you will love our new updated design and look of our website. We will be adding more content and data on the toxic use of chemicals in skincare and makeup products. There will be differing opinions, coming from different sides of the coin, to help you make a better educated decision.

The cart situation will be fixed so there will be no more problems:)

We will also be adding new products once the website is completed. I love the new stuff and can’t wait to share it with you. It is so much fun searching for new products that work and that are pure to boot.

We are going to try and have testimonies on a regular basis. If you have a testimony on any of the skincare or mineral makeup products, please share.  People love to hear what others are experiencing. Here is a skin care testimony from a 70 something young lady.

I have been using some of  the Natures Genesis Products for about a month now. There is already a noticeable change in my skin – it is much softer and younger-looking. I am using the oil cleanser at night followed by an application of the Reparative Anti-Aging Cream Therapy. In the morning, I clean my face with the Herbal Infused Cleansing Gel, followed by an application of the Reparative Anti-Aging Serum, and the eye cream.

I am so impressed with the way these products feel and with the effects on my skin, that I will be now be purchasing the  Herbal Infused Facial Tonique (it is highly recommended by a friend of mine) followed by the Restorative Skin Therapy as a daytime moisturizer.

I have also tried samples of the Organic Botanical Mineral Foundation, and found the finish so much more satisfactory than the other very expensive mineral foundation I have been using. So, I will also be changing over to this foundation.

The Eyes Have It!

What is the first thing that you notice when you look at someone? Usually, it’s their eyes. Few skin care products will have more of an impact on your appearance than an anti aging eye cream or oil. The Cure for Dry, Winter Skin!

Why is our skin itchy and dry during the winter months? The good news is we don’t have to wait until spring to achieve that glowing,  hydrated skin that we’re all desiring.

During the winter months, we are constantly encountering dry air from different sources.  When we step outside we’re blasted by frigid cold with less humidity in the air. It seems to suck the moisture right out of our skin.  Indoors we’re in constant contact with drying heat of some sort, electric, gas, or wood.  All of this dryness could result in us looking like a dried up prune:) Thankfully, we here at Nature’s Genesis have some amazing moisturizers.

Now is the time to switch to a richer moisturizer that’s powerful enough to not only replenish moisture loss but also to seal in the moisture that’s already there.  In the winter, you need to add products to your skin-care regime to protect yourself from the harsh elements. If you’re using a normal, lightweight moisturizer, bump it up to a more emollient one.  Our Reparative Anti-Aging Cream Therapy works wonders.
