The Best All Natural Moisturizers
Posted on January 29th, 2012 No commentsWe thought we would share a testimony of one of our customers. It always fun to hear what others are saying about the products and also introduce a new amazing moisturizer we are carrying. This stuff rocks! Here are the ingredients:
All Amazing: All Pure: All Natural:
Aloe Vera 30% smoothes and softens skin. Helps to lock in moisture, reduce age spots and aid in cell regeneration. Has little beneficial effect however, unless added in significant amounts. For this reason, aloe vera ranks first in volume among our ingredients. Emu oil: (18%) Other products made with emu oil actually carry just 1-10% of this amazing ingredient. It's very similar to human skin oil and hypoallergenic. Emu oil carries the other nutrients deep into the skin where they're most useful. Rich in vitamins A, E and essential fatty acids. Matrixyl 3000: (10%) Powerful combination of two peptides. Stimulates collagen and provides significant reduction in wrinkle depth and volume. Dermaxyl: (10%) Bio-active lipid agent (ceramide 2) which increases the water holding capacity of skin . Keeps skin moist and plump. Shea butter: Evens out skin tone and improves elasticity. Good source of vitamins A, E and F. Green tea extract: Has 20 times the anti-oxidant effect of vitamin E and well-documented benefits of sun protection. Jojoba oil: Helps to balance skin's natural oil production and prevent breakouts. Contains copper, zinc and complex vitamins. Virgin coconut oil: Helps to repair skin damage and strengthen tissue. Castor oil: Reduces age spots, contains ricinoleic acid which inhibits many viruses and bacteria (great for acne). Increases circulation.
A Wonderful, moisturizing product. You will love this stuff.

I am sold on a moisturizer that delivers moisture to the facethat doesn't feel dry and tight an hour after you apply it
even in the driest of cold Minnesota winters. Also, natural
products that have ingredients that are derived from plants,
herbs etc...not man-made I re-order simply because of the
fact that I haven't found anything else out there that
compares to that level of moisturizing I'vefound in these products________________________________________________________________

Tricks to Looking Younger
Posted on December 13th, 2011 No commentsCurling eyelashes makes you look younger, causes your eyes to pop, and look more alert.
We just finished a photo shoot and most everyone needed their eyelashes curled. The difference was amazing. Just the simple act of curling your lashes will draw your eyelashes
upward. They will appear longer and your eyes will look more open. These two effects result in a younger looking you! As we age, our features begin to lose that freshness; eyes tend
to droop a bit more and lashes are less then luscious. Using the right makeup to your advantage, and knowing the right tools to use can help fool the eye and cheat some years off
your face. In just a few seconds your eyes can go from dull to lively with just the squeeze of a lash curler.Technique
Always curl lashes before primer and mascara are applied; otherwise you take a risk of breaking off your eyelashes.
For maximum effect you want to get as close to the base as possible without pinching your skin.Clasp down lightly at first to make sure you are where you need to be with the curler. Then firmly hold for a full five seconds. Your goal is to create a beautiful curve, not an L shape kink, so you will need to experiment with the lash curler to achieve optimum results. Be sure to release the eyelashes fully before pulling it away from your eye.
It’s important to clean the curler every so often so bacteria is not collecting on it day after day and going into your eye. Just a cotton swab with a bit of witch hazel will do the trick, or a quick rinse in soapy water. Make sure to leave it out to dry in an open position so you don’t get it rusted.
Make it a Beautiful Day,
Tracy

A New Supplement for Beautiful Skin
Posted on June 30th, 2011 No commentsHI Ladies,
I thought you would enjoy this little scientific find for beautiful skin.
An interesting article by Dr. Mercola on improving your skin, your health and your over all well being.
When it comes to free radical scavenging, astaxanthin can be as much as…
65 times more powerful than vitamin C*
54 times stronger than beta-carotene*
14 times more potent than vitamin E*Plus, astaxanthin has been shown to be more effective than other carotenoids and other nutrients at ‘singlet oxygen quenching’ by being up to…
550 times more powerful than vitamin E*
800 times stronger than CoQ10*
6000 times greater than vitamin C*
550 times more powerful than green tea catechins*
11 times stronger than beta-carotene*The above comparisons have been made against some incredible nutrients in their own right. Yet, astaxanthin blows them away when it comes down to effective free radical scavenging and singlet oxygen quenching.*
And here’s even more on how astaxanthin is potentially so effective…
Able to cross the blood-brain barrier and the blood-retinal barrier (beta-carotene and some others don’t do this)…*
Protects your eyes, brain, and nervous system from oxidative stress*
Potentially reduces DNA damage caused by free radicals*Any questions why I’m simply amazed at the healthful power of this super-antioxidant?* To date, I’ve never seen anything like it.
So, all you have to do is run out to your local health store or vitamin shop to pick up this extraordinary nutrient.
I’ve already reviewed above some of the potential pitfalls with some of the sources of astaxanthin.
Here’s a simple list of factors that I recommend you consider when finding a natural supplement formula…
Make sure the astaxanthin formula is created from natural marine microalgae and not some form of fungus, or some other less effective form.
Due to the fact astaxanthin is best absorbed when taken with a ‘fatty’ meal (lipid soluble), look for a formula that contains some sort of natural oil or fatty acid that will help maximize your absorption. Without this additional ingredient, your absorption could be less than optimal.
Don’t just settle for what’s necessarily on the label of the bottle. Dig deeper into finding out more info on how the manufacturer guarantees stability and efficacy of the formula.
In addition, make sure the manufacturer can provide solid evidence they don’t use chemical solvents or preservatives in their formulation processes.
Due to new research, most recommendations for daily dosages of natural astaxanthin can now range from 4-8mg. So, look for at least a 4mg minimum serving size so you won’t have to take as many capsuleshttp://articles.mercola.com/sites/current.aspx
Make it a beautiful day,
Tracy

Eye Colors for Spring
Posted on May 16th, 2011 No commentsIf you’re a rookie when it comes to colorful eye makeup, remember that choosing a contrasting shadow can really make your eyes pop.
For example, since orange and blue are complementary colors, coral shades will really bring out your baby blues. The same goes for purple hues if you have green eyes, or blue shades if you have brown eyes.
Green is the color of spring – not just in gardens, but on eye lids this season. Green eye shadow is to eyes what coral gloss is to lips. )
And another bonus? It looks amazing on brown eyes.
We are adding more amazing mineral eyeshadows hopefully within a month or so. Keep checking back with us at Nature’s Genesis
Have an amazing joy-filled day

One Key for Beautiful Younger Looking Skin
Posted on January 4th, 2011 No commentsWho doesn’t desire younger looking skin? Exfoliating is a major key in our endeavor for beautiful skin. Why do we need to exfoliate our skin? We are removing our makeup thoroughly and we are using cleansers everyday to remove the dirt from our faces, aren’t those good enough? Sadly the answer is NO!
Due to metabolism, we have around 4% of dead skin built up on our face everyday. The skin cell regeneration cycle is from 21 days to 28 days. As we age, our skin tends to slow down the exfoliation process this is why we need to manually remove the build up of dead skin off our face. If we have too much dead skin left on the surface of our skin, it will slow down the regeneration cycle and our skin will be dull and without that healthy radiance.
What’s worse is, if we ignore the dead skin, it will eventually clog our pores leading to the formation of whiteheads, blackheads and pimples. Ultimately, exfoliation will reduce dullness and the appearance of wrinkles by breaking up and removing dead skin cell revealing new softer, clearer and glowing skin. It also helps in boosting the blood circulation. As you can see, exfoliation is a vital component for beautiful skin.
Even though exfoliation does our skin good, if it is used to often it can damage our skin. It is suggested to exfoliate once or twice a week, maybe more. Again, this is where we need to know our skin. I’m finding out I only need to use it 2x a week at this point. After exfoliating, your skin will be brightened up and smoothened out, but you will also feel that the skin is lighter and cleaner.
Follow with our Facial Oil, Serums or one of our great nourishing moisturizers. You will definitely notice a better absorption of our other all natural skin care products. Wouldn’t you want those products to get “fed” into the skin and work the wonders for you instead of just “sitting” on top of your skin together with the dead skin? Exfoliation is a must!
Our exfoliator is a non-abrasive anti-aging scrub which will leave your skin notably softer, smoother and brighter. Jojoba Bead Wax will gently remove the build up of dead skin cells. Results are beautiful younger looking skin. Ideal for all skin types

Fight against Premature Aging!
Posted on October 27th, 2010 No commentsGood Morning,
Here is a short little article on antiaging serums and oils
Many antiaging creams are filled with synthetics linked to brain, reproductive, and developmental problems. Look for formulas with fatty acid-rich oils like tamanu, and argon, which help protect against premature wrinkling and aging.
Personally I never leave home without an organic facial oil of some kind. Remember Dr. Oz totes Tamanu oil as a “miracle” oil. This oil is wonderful especially during the winter months, or whenever your eyes appear dry, think fine lines, crows feet etc……This really does help. Tamanu does sting the eyes quite a bit, so you do need to be careful. Also, the smell is a little nasty, but……..it is worth it for the effect of this oil on wrinkles.

Until next time,
Tracy
