Skin Dryness: Cure for Menopausal Women

Vichy Laboratoires sponsored a survey of 686 menopausal women to examine skin care concerns in this age group. Interestingly, the survey found that dryness may supersede wrinkles as a concern for women ages 50+. The fieldwork for the phone survey was conducted by Opinion Research Corp.

Many of the women also changed their beauty routine with menopause, as 67% reported purchasing new skin care and color cosmetic products to address these issues.

Why is our skin itchy and dry during the winter months? The good news is we don’t have to wait until spring to achieve that glowing,  hydrated skin that we’re all desiring.

During the winter months, we are constantly encountering dry air from different sources.  When we step outside we’re blasted by frigid cold with less humidity in the air. It seems to suck the moisture right out of our skin.  Indoors we’re in constant contact with drying heat of some sort, electric, gas, or wood.  All of this dryness could result in us looking like a dried up prune:) Thankfully, we here at Nature’s Genesis have some amazing moisturizers.

A New Makeup Line that We’re Extremely Excited to Share with You

We here at Nature’s Genesis picked up a new makeup line that we’re extremely excited to share with you, Rejuva Minerals. This company has been listed as one of the top eight safe cosmetic brands in the U.S. in 2009.  I’ve never used a mineral foundation that worked so well as this line does. Trust me I’ve tried just about all of them and nothing, and I mean nothing worked. The other brands would accent every line, every pore and every wrinkle and were very hard to apply.  Needless to say, I’ve been on the search for a pure mineral  line that would really deliver. Well, I found one that does what it says. Better yet, it’s pure and doesn’t contain all those nasty chemicals.

In fact, I was amazed the first time I tried this, it glides on beautifully. It requires no more time then if you were applying a liquid foundation. Before with the other mineral lines, it took me forever to apply and try to make it look good. It never did happen. Anyway, this  was easy to apply and it didn’t sink into every inperfection. You don’t have that caked on feel or look that sometimes comes with using a  mineral foundation. Your skin looks beautiful, fresh and natural. If you’d like to give a mineral foundation another shot, you won’t be disappointed with this makeup line.

Personally, all I use is the Rejuva Minerals line except for a lash conditioner and a lip liner. I’m hoping they will offer these in the near future. Their mineral eyeshadows are infused with the powerful antioxidant Vitamin C and other all natural, organic ingredients. You can chose from a vast array of colors from striking bold colors to muted blends for a more natural radiant look.  I’ve listed the ingredients below so you can see for yourself how natural this really is. What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You! Part 2

The animal rendering plant (recycling plant)  pays the area farmers for their dead animals that die either from natural causes or diseases.  This plant uses many different kinds of animals in their operation cows, horses, lamas and pigs to name a few.  On this episode, cows were the main focus.  Some were bloated because they had lain dead for up to four days. So, you can imagine how they looked, how they stunk, and how they….  you get the picture. The process was horrendous. First, they stripped the hide off the bloated animals to be used for leather items. Next, they took everything else, Blood, guts, eye balls, hoofs, ears, intestines (with everything in there), you name it, and threw it into a grinder where everything was ground up. Some of these bovine were diseased. Needless to say, the sight was not pretty to look at. Subsequently, they cooked the animals until the fat/oil rose to the top. When the fat/oil cooled, they skimmed the fat off to  sell to the manufacturers to use in their cosmetics, skin care, and soaps that are distributed around the country. These are products  that ladies, men, and children are applying to their faces and bodies. I’m amazed that the FDA doesn’t have better regulations regarding the cosmetic industry, but they don’t. Cosmetic regulations are one of the lowest in the industry.

Ladies, we need to do our homework. Do you want to apply cosmetic and skin care products to your skin that are riddled with potential disease? Do you desire to use cosmetic and skin care products with these kind of harmful ingredients? I don’t think so! As you all know, our skin is the largest organ in our body. What is applied on the outside seeps into the inside.  Hopefully, this brief little article made us all more aware of the importance of using All Natural Skin Care products. All Natural Toner – Vital for Beautiful Skin!
