The Best All Natural Moisturizers

We thought we would share a  testimony of one of our customers. It always fun to hear what others are saying about the products and also introduce a new amazing moisturizer we are carrying.  This stuff rocks! Here are the ingredients:

All Amazing: All Pure: All Natural:

Aloe Vera 30% smoothes and softens skin.  Helps to lock in moisture,
reduce age spots and aid in cell regeneration.  Has little beneficial
effect however, unless added in significant amounts.  For this reason,
aloe vera ranks first in volume among our ingredients.

Emu oil: (18%) Other products made with emu oil actually carry just
1-10% of this amazing ingredient.  It's very similar to human skin oil
and hypoallergenic.  Emu oil carries the other nutrients deep into the
skin where they're most useful.  Rich in vitamins A, E and essential
fatty acids.

Matrixyl 3000:  (10%) Powerful combination of two peptides.  Stimulates
collagen and provides significant reduction in wrinkle depth and volume.

Dermaxyl: (10%) Bio-active lipid agent (ceramide 2) which increases the
water holding capacity of skin .  Keeps skin moist and plump.

Shea butter:  Evens out skin tone and improves elasticity.  Good source
of vitamins A, E and F.

Green tea extract:  Has 20 times the anti-oxidant effect of vitamin E
and well-documented benefits of sun protection.

Jojoba oil:  Helps to balance skin's natural oil production and prevent
breakouts.  Contains copper, zinc and complex vitamins. 

Virgin coconut oil:  Helps to repair skin damage and strengthen tissue.

Castor oil:  Reduces age spots, contains ricinoleic acid which inhibits
many viruses and bacteria (great for acne).  Increases circulation.

A Wonderful, moisturizing product. You will love this stuff.

I am sold on a moisturizer that delivers moisture to the face 

that doesn't feel dry and tight an hour after you apply it 

even in the driest of cold Minnesota winters. Also,natural

 products that have ingredients that are derived from plants,

 herbs etc...not man-made I re-order simply because of the

 fact that I haven't found anything else out there that 

compares to that level of moisturizing I've 

found in these products

Keeping Your Mineral Foundation looking Dewy not Matte

Foundations that are matte liquid, or mineral-based, can erase your youthful glow and that beautiful dewy look.

If you are using any foundation that has too much matte, it will accentuate facial dryness. As we age we tend to lose hydration, which leads to dullness of skin tone, and causes our face to look dry, tight and more wrinkled. In order to appear more youthful it is essential to make sure that the face looks hydrated, glowing and plump. As always, proper skincare is vital for younger looking skin. Oils can help create that perfect canvas for your foundation.

Mineral Powder Foundations can look beautiful and glowing on the face. As I stated above, you must start with proper skincare, and you must exfoliate so your canvas is in perfect shape to begin your mineral application. In all honesty, I have tried numerous mineral foundations and the only one that has worked well is the one we carry. I’m sure there are other great ones out there, but I just haven’t come across them yet.

Also, if you desire that youthful dewy look, applying a facial mister is a must! If your skin looks dry after you apply your minerals foundation, spritz a little of our Herbal Tonique or Vit C Ester onto your face and it will radiate beauty. The facial mister causes your minerals to look dewy and not matte, which is what you should aim for to have that youthful glow.

Liquid Minerals are another beautiful foundation if you desire that youthful glow. Personally I love the tinted mineral moisturizer as it goes on easily.

It is important to avoid being overzealous with the minerals in those danger zones which we have, such as the outer corners of eye area, tops of the cheekbones, the upper lip line, and the smile lines next to the mouth.

Nature’s Genesis – New Skin Care Website

Hi Ladies,

Just a quick note to say I haven’t forgotten you. We are updating our website to service you, our customers, better. I’ve received many phone calls stating that our cart was knocking everybody off and that it was about impossible to order. This is NOT good at all for everybody concerned. I’m so sorry for any and all inconveniences.

I think you will love our new updated design and look of our website. We will be adding more content and data on the toxic use of chemicals in skincare and makeup products. There will be differing opinions, coming from different sides of the coin, to help you make a better educated decision.

The cart situation will be fixed so there will be no more problems:)

We will also be adding new products once the website is completed. I love the new stuff and can’t wait to share it with you. It is so much fun searching for new products that work and that are pure to boot.

Exciting Mineral Makeup Line Stay ON

HI Ladies,

We here at Nature’s Genesis have been testing out a new Mineral Make up line. (We will still be carrying our current line, but it is nice to offer a few more selections.) This line has some amazing reviews, so we thought we should check it out and see if it is all it’s supposed to be.

So far, I have not had to touch up my mineral foundation at all during the day, which is quite unusual. It is staying on until I wash my face at night. As most of you know, that doesn’t happen with to many mineral makeup lines. The other plus is that this is bismuth free. Bismuth is known to cause irritations to your skin and create, red, small bumps, pustules, and can cause a burning sensation or cause your face to look swollen. In a few weeks time, you could have full blown acne. Not fun!

If you wonder where all the “shine” comes from, Bismuth Oxychloride is the culprit. Since summer is coming, which translates humidity in our neck of the woods, you will look like an oil slick if you are using anything with Bismuth Oxycholoride.

Testimonies are in that this has staying power even in hot, humid weather. All of us who live in states with 90% humidity give this a hearty – YEAH!

Another great point is that it has a natural SPF Protection of 26, and in addition to the SPF protection it also has great UVA Protection.

We are going to try and have testimonies on a regular basis. If you have a testimony on any of the skincare or mineral makeup products, please share.  People love to hear what others are experiencing. Here is a skin care testimony from a 70 something young lady.

I have been using some of  the Natures Genesis Products for about a month now. There is already a noticeable change in my skin – it is much softer and younger-looking. I am using the oil cleanser at night followed by an application of the Reparative Anti-Aging Cream Therapy. In the morning, I clean my face with the Herbal Infused Cleansing Gel, followed by an application of the Reparative Anti-Aging Serum, and the eye cream.

I am so impressed with the way these products feel and with the effects on my skin, that I will be now be purchasing the  Herbal Infused Facial Tonique (it is highly recommended by a friend of mine) followed by the Restorative Skin Therapy as a daytime moisturizer.

I have also tried samples of the Organic Botanical Mineral Foundation, and found the finish so much more satisfactory than the other very expensive mineral foundation I have been using. So, I will also be changing over to this foundation.

I am also happy to say that the prices are very competitive, I definitely get more for my money – a little of the product (whichever one) goes a long way!!

The Best Investment for Your Face!!

Before I begin to tell you the beneficial benefits of oils, I would love to share a little bit more of my story with you. When my face began going down hill, I’m talking looking older then my years, I began to research and research to try and find something that would work. Guilt was setting in quite rapidly because I was spending so much time and money researching for the perfect cream. I even went to visit the area Skin Care Professionals, who told me to exfoliate more. All anybody would tell me is to exfoliate. I even had a Microdermabrasion done hoping that would work. (In and of itself, this is okay) My poor skin was a dry, wrinkly mess. No amount of cream helped. Until I came upon the Cleansing Oil Method. After using this for a period of time, lines began to diminish, pores were greatly reduced, they were back to normal size. Honestly this has been my ticket to beautiful skin. Most professional skin doctors don’t understand using oil on your skin. They will tell you not to use it. It is mainly  taboe. (There’s always exceptions)
