Are Your Facial Products Safe? You Might Want To Check!
Posted on October 21st, 2009 No commentsParabens are found in most moisturizers and facial products, shampoos and even in toothpaste. Look on the back of your bottles and you will be shocked at the ingredients they use. Parabens are known to be a skin irritant to even those with “normal” skin. Commom parabens that you may find listed on some of your facial products are: methylparaben, propylparaben, ethylparaben and butylparaben. There are others parabens that are used, also, just look for ingredients that end in “paraben.” You will be amazed!
Although using just one product with parabens may not harm you, think about everything else you put on your body! As you can imagine, the use of parabens chalk up quite quickly. Whether you want to avoid parabens for health reasons or simply because the harsh chemicals irritate your skin, there are more and more products available out there for you to choose from. Right here at Nature’s Genesis you have options since we don’t allow a product to be featured if it contains parabens.
There are other alternatives that cosmetic companies could use for the perservative in their skin care products and cosmetics, but their opting for the cheaper route. Sadly enough, parabens are quite cheap to use. Thankfully, there are more and more consumers out there who are demanding safer, healthier alternatives, and more companies are responding to that call. You will find “paraben free” on more labels then ever before. As time goes on, there will be even more of a demand for safe, healthy, all natural skin care products.
Next week we’ll continue along in this same vein. You won’t want to miss this.
Have a wonderful week,

All Natural Skin Toner – A Must for Your Skin
Posted on August 30th, 2009 No commentsUsing an all natural toner, Herbal Infused Facial Tonique, is a must for the appearance and health of your skin. It is much more then a skin conditioner. It is a vital component for your skin care regime. There are actually four basic reasons why we use toner on our skin.
Toners deeply clean our pores and remove all the impurities on our skin.
In addition, they rebalance our skin to the proper ph which is of utmost importance.
Furthermore, facial toners bring hydration and moisture content to our skin.
Last but not least, is the assistance it gives for penetration of other treatments and moisturizers.
I will write more about the great benefits of using our Facial Tonique next week.
Until Next Time,
Tracy
