It has been over a month since our last newsletter. We wanted to wait until our website was completed before we posted another letter. Sorry! It’s not finished yet, but it sure looks a lot nicer. We are hoping in the next month to be totally done!!!

We have added quite a few new products. If you click on antiwrinkle beauty tools you’ll find the little tool called the Dermaroller. (We were telling you about in our last newsletter) It’s quite the amazing beauty gadget and cost a fraction of the price of going into the spa for basically the same treatment. There is a lot of information regarding the benefits of using the Dermaroller. Check it out on our website! My mom used it only a few times and could tell a difference in her eye area. Definitely helped to firm and tone!

Right now we are in negotiations with a few skincare companies regarding their beauty products. Hopefully in the next few weeks we’ll have something concrete to show you.

Well, we hosted our first skincare/makeup party last week. We actually had a professional makeup artist come in and doll up all the ladies. I could have done it myself, but thought it would be fun to have someone else come in and help our first time around.

Her specialty was in the eye department. She did a great job. You could either go for the natural or eccentric look. Most of us went for the natural. Our all natural mineral eye shadows, eyeliners, and mascaras helped to create that perfect look. She gave tips on proper makeup application, and the necessity of professional makeup tools for creating the look you desire. The right brushes really do make a difference.

All in all it was a really fun evening. We hope to be doing these quite regularly, so if your interested please let me know. Besides the fact that these parties are just plain fun, we are offering the hostess some nice deals and discounts. We would start with our skincare line then proceed with our mineral makeup. As most of you know, great skincare products are a must for beautiful skin and also for proper application of mineral makeup.

We actually took some pictures and video footage of the evening and I’m hoping to have those on the website in the near future.

One other thing, we are going to be updating our website hopefully soon. Do you have any suggestions for the website? Anything you’d like to see, better navigation etc…. We are open for suggestions.

I just wanted to put in a really good word for the Reparative Age-Defying serum, which I have been very impressed with to date. (I use it in my daily skin regimen.)Since the doc ordered me to start taking Tarceva (a non-small-cell cancer drug), I have been even more impressed with the serum. The drug has made all my skin so very, very dry!! I have had to purchase special lotions for my body to keep the skin from cracking and bleeding. BUT!! Remember what we put on our face can harm us. Here are a few scientific finding regarding chemicals:

• Skin treated with parabens show a 16 percent increase in skin cell fatality. This increase in cell death contributes to wrinkles, dark spots and diminished skin tone, thus making the skin look older. I can guarantee none of us want this! Again, check your labels and find out what your really putting on your face. You will be amazed.

• Propylene glycol  is often called ‘industrial strength anti-freeze.’ It can permeate through skin layers and enter the blood stream, where it is suspected of causing liver abnormalities and kidney damage.

• Most scientists agree that at least 80% of the more than 200 different types of cancer are caused by toxic, synthetic chemicals.
