All Natural Exfoliant – Reveals Beautiful Skin!

Who doesn’t desire younger looking skin? Exfoliating is a major key in our endeavor for beautiful skin. Why do we need to exfoliate our skin?  We are removing our makeup thoroughly and we are using cleansers everyday to remove the dirt from our faces, aren’t those good enough? Sadly the answer is NO!

Due to metabolism, we have around 4% of dead skin built up on our skin everyday. The skin cell regeneration cycle is from 21 days to 28 days. As we age, our skin tends to slow down the exfoliation process this is why we need to manuely remove the build up of dead skin off our face. If we have too much dead skin left stuck on the surface of our skin, it will slow down the regeneration cycle and our skin will be dull and without that healthy radiance.  What’s worse is, if we ignore the dead skin, it will eventually clog our pores leading to the formation of whiteheads, blackheads and pimples.  Ultimately, exfoliation will reduce dullness and the appearance of wrinkles by breaking up and removing dead skin cell revealing new softer, clearer and glowing skin. It also helps in boosting the blood circulation. As you can see, exfoliation is a vital component for beautiful skin.

Even though exfoliation does our skin good, if it is used to often it can damage our skin.  It is suggested to exfoliate once or twice a week, maybe more, or maybe less. Again, this is where we need to know our skin. I’m finding out I only need to use it once a week at this point.  After exfoliating, your skin will be brightened up and smoothened out, but you will also feel that the skin is lighter and cleaner.

Follow with our Facial Oil, Serums or one of our great nourishing moisturizers. You will definitely notice a better absorption of our other all natural skin care products. Are Your Facial Products Safe?

Have you ever wondered what perserves your facial products? Why do they have such a long…….shelf life? Have you ever wondered about  the ingredient named “paraben?  Parabens are a preservative  added to prevent bacterial growth and increase the shelf life of a product, which means the company can keep the same product around for a longer length of time. As we all know this saves time, but ultimately  it saves MONEY.  Parabens have been a concern in the natural beauty industry for quite sometime. As you will, the concerns are legitimate.

Parabens may affect the male reproductive system and have been known to mimic estrogen hormones in the body. One scientific study reports that parabens were found in samples of breast tumors.  Their analysis of 20 breast tumors found high concentrations of parabens in 18 samples. Another study showed evidence of parabens in 100 adults that were tested.  There is no scientific data that proves  parabens contributed to the tumors. All the same though, it does make you think. Many people are conviced it is safer all the way around to go Natural! I agree!

What You Don’t Know Can Hurt You! Part 2

The animal rendering plant (recycling plant)  pays the area farmers for their dead animals that die either from natural causes or diseases.  This plant uses many different kinds of animals in their operation cows, horses, lamas and pigs to name a few.  On this episode, cows were the main focus.  Some were bloated because they had lain dead for up to four days. So, you can imagine how they looked, how they stunk, and how they….  you get the picture. The process was horrendous. First, they stripped the hide off the bloated animals to be used for leather items. Next, they took everything else, Blood, guts, eye balls, hoofs, ears, intestines (with everything in there), you name it, and threw it into a grinder where everything was ground up. Some of these bovine were diseased. Needless to say, the sight was not pretty to look at. Subsequently, they cooked the animals until the fat/oil rose to the top. When the fat/oil cooled, they skimmed the fat off to  sell to the manufacturers to use in their cosmetics, skin care, and soaps that are distributed around the country. These are products  that ladies, men, and children are applying to their faces and bodies. I’m amazed that the FDA doesn’t have better regulations regarding the cosmetic industry, but they don’t. Cosmetic regulations are one of the lowest in the industry.

Ladies, we need to do our homework. Do you want to apply cosmetic and skin care products to your skin that are riddled with potential disease? Do you desire to use cosmetic and skin care products with these kind of harmful ingredients? I don’t think so! As you all know, our skin is the largest organ in our body. What is applied on the outside seeps into the inside.  Hopefully, this brief little article made us all more aware of the importance of using All Natural Skin Care products. This is going to carry a little different tone than our other newsletters. This was so amazing, I thought I really needed to share it with you. You will be amazed, and probably a little sickened to your stomach,  if you have a weak stomach you might not want to read this article.

We, our family, went on a little mini-vacation before the onslaught of school activities began. As most people do after a long day of site seeing, we turned on the TV to relax and unwind before we crashed for the night. Well, the fellas in our family enjoy the show “Dirty Jobs.” Guess what the show was about. An Animal Rendering Plant. It was appalling. After you hear this, you will never want to use anything on your face or body that is not organic.
