    Skin in your 50s

    By this decade the changes seen in the 40s are more pronounced. As estrogen levels drop, the skin’s natural oil production decreases. The result is even drier skin. The skin also gets more fragile, therefore it is injured easily and is slow to heal. There is also increased loss of elasticity, especially around the eyes. The skin around the neck may also start to droop.

    The result:

    * Skin looks dry and lackluster
    * Skin is more sensitive to aggressive anti-aging products
    * Expression lines and wrinkles are deeper
    * Eyelids begin to wrinkle
    * Neck starts to droop

    An Antiaging Serum is a must in your fight against aging. Check the ingredients. Make sure the ingredients support the claims they are making. Alpha Lipoic Acid and MSM are a sure fire way to rev up and firm your skin.

    Most of us have heard of Dr. Perricone’s research on Alpha Lipoic Acid. Couple the ALA with the MSM, which is a proven collagen builder, and you have a win, win solution for your skin.

    We will have more next week.

    Enjoy your day,

    Hi Ladies,

    Here is a short account of what happens to our skin in our 40s.

    40s
    Many of the changes that started to appear in the 30s are even more pronounced as we hit our 40s. During this decade, the skin changes are primarily due to premenopause. Skin cells begin to turn over even more slowly than in the 30s, which now takes anywhere between 27-30 days for a complete turnover. This is why manual exfoliation is vital for beautiful skin. The skin’s collagen starts to break down and the skin’s elastic tissue starts to lose some of its elasticity.

    MSM is absolutely essential for collagen production. Without proper levels of MSM, our bodies are unable to build good healthy cells, and this leads to problems such as lost flexibility, scar tissue, wrinkles, varicose veins, and dry cracking skin.

    Sulfur has been called nature’s “beauty mineral” because it is needed to keep the complexion clear and youthful. When sufficient sulfur is present for new cells, the skin is softer, smoother and more flexible. MSM provides that sulfur.

    Antioxidants are more important now, not just for their preventive benefits, but because they can correct cell damage, leading to improved appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.

    Next week will be on skin in the 50s.

    Have a great week,

Well, the fellas in our family enjoy the show “Dirty Jobs.” Guess what the show was about. An Animal Rendering Plant. It was appalling. After you hear this, you will never want to use anything on your face or body that is not organic. This article is going to be a brief summary of the TV show – “Dirty Jobs.” Bottom line is: What you don’t know can hurt you!

    MSM has a significance, because sulfur compounds are found everywhere throughout the body and MSM is the 3rd largest ingredient found in the human body.

    MSM is a natural form of organic sulfonyl sulfur compound that is found in the fluid of all living organisms. It is present in a variety of foods, including most fresh raw fruits and green vegetables, milk, meat, seafood, and some grains. It is also found in many common beverages such as milk, coffee and tea.  It is, in essence, a pure white, odorless, essentially tasteless, water-soluble crystalline solid sulfur powder.

    MSM makes cell walls permeable, allowing water and nutrients to freely flow into cells and allowing wastes and toxins to properly flow out.   The body uses MSM along with Vitamin C to create new, healthy cells, and MSM provides the flexible bond between the cells. Without proper levels of MSM, our bodies are unable to build good healthy cells, and this leads to problems such as lost flexibility, scar tissue, wrinkles, varicose veins,  and dry cracking skin.

    Restore elasticity with our MSM skin care products.
